Watercolor print of the Gilbert Temple and Being Sealed after Adoption
I just got this Watercolor print of the Gilbert Temple from Alycia Pace. Her shop name is PacePaintings on Etsy. Since we just got sealed to our new baby boy I wanted a unique Temple picture to display in our home to remind me of this wonderful day. When I saw her prints I fell in love. They are all so pretty, very unique and I loved her prices!!!
She has many other temples. Seriously the best gifts for weddings, Temple Sealings, Christmas, birthdays...anything! Or get one for yourself like I did! :)

A little about our newest adoption:
2 years ago we decided let's adopt again. With our oldest three children we were matched fairly fast. This last adoption we waited 2 years, we had 3 failed adoptions and one we lost a lot of money on. I was praying to Heavenly Father if we were really meant to adopt again. Was this a sign to give up? I had this empty hole in my heart telling me there is another child out there but it wasn't easy getting this baby. So after a few years of some ups and mostly downs in the adoption area we adopted a baby boy. Once we chose our lawyer we were matched right away and he was born a few months later.
What a great experience to be there for his birth, stay in the hospital with him and see God blessing our family after all we have been through. I was instantly in love. I just stare at our baby boy Madden and think I am so glad he came to our family and that it all worked out the way it did. My heart feels whole and I don't feel emptiness any more.
Now I tell everyone adoption is beautiful and amazing. But it is an emotional roller coaster for both parties. But it is so worth it. God has his hand in the adoption process for sure. So many things have to fall perfectly into place and you see miracles constantly with adoption. Each one of my kids have their own special story how they came to us and I cherish that so much. When I think how they came to our family it just builds my testimony so much because I know Heavenly Father had a huge part of it.
With adoption you have many wonderful experience but my favorite is going into the temple as a family and being sealed. We had a wonderful experience in the temple and I am so glad we could all go in as a family and my kids could experience this. We have gone 4 times to be sealed with each kid but this time felt even more special. I think it was because my 3 older kids were older now (not toddlers and babies) and I knew they would remember this moment the rest of their lives. Madden was such a good baby too and seriously smiled and laughed almost the whole time in the temple. It was a day I will never forget!

I have a few empty walls by my kids rooms. So I wanted to make a few quotes (prints) to lift them up and motivate them as they see them daily. I can't decide which I like best so I think I will get a frame for these and change them out every other month or something. Here are some I made and you are welcome to print them and use them too.

We have been talking about adopting one more time for a few years now and something told me that now is the time to do it. We are getting certified for the 4th time and are hoping to adopt again. I have never used this blog for anything except for posting the freebies I make but you never know who's going to hear about us wanting to adopt again and the connections they might have. I love this quote because it fits with anyone you love in your life. Child, Spouse or Friend...Anyone that you feel so lucky to have. I think of my children when I hear this quote. I prayed for hours for each one of them. I wanted to be a mommy so bad...I made a Wish and they came true!

I made this freebie because it reminds me of my kids before
they were born and became apart of our family. Even before I knew for sure we were going
to be able to adopt them I would just feel like overwhelming love for them and
I didn't even know them or have any idea what they would look like. I know
Heavenly Father was blessing me with peace and comfort waiting for each child.
And once I saw them I knew who they were. Though we have not been able to have
children of our own, we feel overjoyed with the opportunity to adopt. We know
this is what we are meant to do. We have appreciation for and don’t take for
granted the situations that brought our children to us. Many things had to fall
perfectly into place so we know adoption is truly God's work and we are so
blessed to be a part of His plan.
